We bring food and God's Word to families across Uganda, sometimes serving one household and other times reaching entire groups. We share an update after every outreach so you can see the difference your generosity makes. Over the past five years, God has blessed this ministry with the opportunity to reach thousands of people, offering food and the gospel to the hungry, new clothes for the kids, and the hope of Jesus to every heart.

A specific gift box, carried to a specific house, with specific things in it. Nothing symbolic and nothing toward a general fund.

Cost to feed one person$1.40
This is the ministry's average cost per person fed across everything it buys, not $45 divided by the people in one home. A single delivered gift and the program-wide average are two different measurements.
Send a giftRice
Delivered 100 lbs at a time and split by family size. Rice is a treat, usually too expensive to keep in the house.
Local beans
Uganda grows a surplus and exports it, which does not mean a struggling household can buy any.
Watermelon
Grown locally, and one of the few things in the gift box a child will eat on the spot.
Sugar
Plain, no additives. A household staple that is quietly unaffordable.
Sweets for the children
Every home visited has children in it, usually about five, and the sweets are picked with them in mind.
Adult BibleScripture
In English or in Luganda, whichever the household actually reads.
Children's BibleScripture
One per family.
Gospel tractsScripture
Written and printed locally because Bibles are expensive and a village is larger than two Bibles.
MattressesCare
Given out often, to families who have been sleeping on the bare floor.

Usually 20,000 UGX, left with the family for what the gift box does not cover.

A gift here becomes rice and beans for hungry families, snacks for the kids, clothing and shoes for children in need, medical care for those who cannot afford it, clean water, education and vocational training, support for missionaries and local churches, and gospel tracts in someone’s own language, all helping us share the love of Jesus through practical care, prayer, and the Good News of salvation.
