Update on Daisy
While in Uganda, we ran across a story of a young woman having an exceptionally hard time. We all face challenges and complex life as we grow up; some of us have parents who still cannot afford to take care of us. Others are orphans and cannot support themselves; only the world to teach them a lesson.
What do you do when you find yourself in such a tight corner? Well, Daisy was one of the people in such a dilemma, but Jesus died and rose on the third day. JFM shared a story of Daisy last week, and JFM stepped in to rescue her by God’s grace. Six months of rent in her new small apartment and around $300.00 to do any lucrative idea so that her life changes. Below is her thankful message.
“I don’t know where to start but allow me to say that I am so happy for what you, JFM, did for me. Thank you so much for the support. I never knew that soft-hearted people still existed in this 21st century until I met you. The care and concern you showed took away all my childhood sorrows. Now I feel like someone cares for me. Thank you for choosing me, I don’t take this for granted. Nothing in the world that at one point I would think something could happen to me like this; nowhere in my life would I think I could receive this kind of hospitality. One time I shouted to the Lord, questioning him why me? “Little did I know that His timing was the perfect one. After so many years of suffering, I can now smile after a long time. Thank you so much.”
The above words were from Daisy, a single JFM that has helped from worry. She was given a starting capital to start a business and improve her living standards. We believe in transformation and always want to leave people better than we found them; Daisy’s life won’t remain the same.
We are delighted to inform that JFM made a business to Daisy the aim is to generate income and sustain herself.
