JFM helps a boy with a fractured bone.
About two weeks ago, Kato Edgar, a young boy, was struck by a speeding boda boda, leaving him with a painful open fracture of his tibia. As is often the case, the boda boda driver fled, leaving Kato without help. Fortunately, a kind stranger rushed him to the hospital but quickly disappeared, leaving the boy alone in desperate need.
After assessing Kato’s condition, I confirmed his open tibial fracture and discovered he was suffering from severe anemia, requiring an urgent blood transfusion. Sadly, the hospital didn’t have his blood type available, and he needed immediate transfer to a facility that could treat him. In his pain and uncertainty, Kato’s only hope was the doctors and GOD. That’s when I reached out to JesusFedMe, and the ministry immediately provided an ambulance for his transfer. We sent him off with prayers, trusting GOD for his survival when no one else thought he would make it. This reminds us to trust GOD, as He always has the final say.
Many people who receive aid don’t return to express gratitude, but we don’t help for recognition—Jesus receives praise in all things. To our joy, just two days ago, Kato returned with a smile on his face, able to walk, although still in pain. JesusFedMe also provided him with crutches to assist in his recovery, making him the happiest boy this month!
We thank GOD for this beautiful outcome and the donors who make these moments of hope possible. May GOD bless you all for your generous hearts and divine service!
