At the start of this term, all the orphaned children under my care were so eager for a new term that commenced on 16th Sept yesterday. Throughout the weekend, they ironed clothes and prepared their bags with the strong hope of resuming a new term.
However, to me as their foster parent my only faith was in God because I had no single penny to facilitate their fees and school necessities. Early morning they looked at me and I told them look unto God for he never fails. Honestly I was stuck. This teaches them to put their full trust in God, for he provides, not me.
But the verse which was in my mind was Mark 10:27, with man it is impossible but with God everything is possible! I held onto that and kept believing.
At around 7:00 p.m., my eyes couldn’t believe what I had just seen. It was a message of hope that had cleared all school fees for all seven children under my care! No one could believe this, but it was the honest reality that happened—it was a miracle!
Today, clad in their gussy outfits ( uniforms), which were as white as snow, they resumed their new academic semester ( term) with smiles on their little faces!
I want to extend my heartfelt sincere gratitude to all JFM partners who generously made this miracle happen and created smiles again, may God fill you with multitudes of blessings! Among these kids, we believe for a story one day that will Glorify God!
