JFM makes every attempt to stop famine in people. Unfortunately, all too often, hunger has claimed lives in the forgotten corners of Uganda. Covid 19 triggered the most significant hunger increase in poverty in Uganda in the last century. However, JFM has been providing food relief to starving poor families. Located in northeastern Uganda, the semi-arid is one of the poorest regions in Uganda.
While traveling to Busujju village in Uganda, you can’t fail to notice the clear blue skies. Children alongside the road clap from a distance after seeing JFM with candy, dancing, seemingly making merry. But this is not the case. Instead, they are clapping, expecting something from JFM and hoping we have come up with a rescue plan. What these kids have in common is being malnourished.
JFM donates 50 kilograms of rice every day to starving families, we all know there is a lot of unemployment in the country, so we help whoever is in need.
