I wanted to share a story that touched my heart while I was sharing the Gospel. Florence Nakate, a 50-year-old widow living in Massinga-Luweero, shared her life story with me. She lost her husband, Mr. Mpakunkuwe John, in 2010 and now lives with one of her sons, who works as a communal herdsman, and four orphaned grandchildren. They live on a small piece of land, which is not enough for sustainable farming, making it difficult to produce enough food for their needs. Florence has to work on neighboring farms to provide for her family. They live in a rundown mud house with torn mats as their only bedding, without blankets or other necessities.
When I visited them today, they were overjoyed to host me and receive the gifts of food, gospel tracts, soap, and some cash. Through our acts of kindness, they felt the love of Jesus. I pray that they will continue to find happiness in Christ Jesus. I want to express my gratitude to our generous donors who made this possible. May the Almighty God bless you abundantly. SHALOM!
