Our target was to feed ten families with 50 kilograms (11 lbs.) of rice each; however, this was impossible as locals surfaced in a significant number to get free rice from JFM. Hungry natives came with tins, other saucepans, while others with polyethylene bags to get food.
Over 15 mothers accompanying their children flooded around the sacks of rice with joy to get a good taste of rice. It was pretty challenging to distribute food among all, but finally, at least everyone left with a smile. Though it was not enough since we had only planned to feed ten, the number was in excess, and we could leave others to go with nothing. So we had no other choice but to give everyone, however small, to ensure everyone gets their equal share.
We adopted giving rice because with rice; we can feed more than one family. In the past, we could only provide one family per day, and whenever we could visit one, neighbors would look with angry eyes and imagine (why not us, something we never wanted to continue. So we adopted giving rice to ensure that many benefits since Jesus loved all, so we also give all-around other than offering to one fortunate family.

You did an amazing job today considering the chaos of the crowd. JFM will surely come back to the same people again very soon. I’m so proud of Mathiew.
