Greetings to you all. We believe that you had a wonderful resurrection weekend. Even during the Easter holiday, JFM remained active in its daily missions giving, and activities. Yesterday went to check on Angella’s house, and we were pleased with the progress thus far, the builder has finished the roof. We extend our sincere thanks to our dear donors who made this happen, and we are truly happy for our donors always trusting us for the ministry. This humble home may not be a big deal to many, but it’s truly a miracle to Angela and her nine children. Remember they were living under a tarp when we found them.
Kids Surprised
JFM Stopped by some kids running while we were coming back from Angelas. JFM met three kids who were collecting white ants alongside the road, but suddenly, after seeing a car, they all ran away fearing and shouting “kidnapper…… kidnapper……………kidnapper”. So often, kids in remote areas fear vehicles as they believe the myth that when a car stops near them, they might be kidnapped.
I tried to follow them, but the more I tried, the deeper they went into the bush. I yelled, ” I’m not a kidnapper” after a few minutes, one by one they slowly surfaced. They finally trusted us, and we gave them each a piece of candy and some food for their Mum. In return, they gave us the best gift of all, big smiles. And, of course, we handed out gospel tracts.
