Where Others Turn Away, JFM Steps In

JesusFedMe (JFM) goes where many people refuse to go. We go where shame has settled, where poverty has stolen hope, and where families feel forgotten. We walk into places where others pass by without a second glance because we believe every person is precious in the sight of God.
JFM is not afraid of dirt, broken homes, or worn-out clothes. We have met children with no clothes to wear, families sleeping on bare floors, and parents who have lost hope. While many see only misery, JFM sees people whom Christ loves and died to save.
Where people skip, JFM stops. Where others keep their distance, JFM draws near with food, compassion, and the message of salvation. We believe that true love is shown not only through words but also through action. Every meal shared becomes an opportunity to share the Gospel and point someone to Jesus Christ.
This is exactly how Jesus carried out His ministry. He did not avoid the sick, the poor, or the rejected. He touched lepers whom no one else would touch. He ate with tax collectors and sinners whom society despised. He welcomed those who had been pushed aside and gave them dignity, hope, and new life.
JFM follows that same example. We do not wait for people to come to us. We go to them—walking from house to house, village to village, reaching families where they are. Whether the roads are muddy, the homes are falling apart, or the circumstances seem hopeless, we continue because love always takes the first step.
Where people do not care, JFM chooses to care. Every hungry child matters. Every widow matters. Every orphan matters. Every forgotten family matters. We believe no one is beyond God’s love, and no place is too poor or too broken for His grace to reach.
Our mission is not simply to fill empty stomachs but also to fill empty hearts with the hope found in Jesus Christ. Food may satisfy for a day, but the Gospel has the power to change a life forever. That is why every outreach combines practical help with the life-changing message of salvation.
JFM exists because Jesus first came to us when we were lost. As He entered the darkest places to bring light, we are committed to doing the same. Where there is shame, we bring dignity. Where there is dirt, we bring compassion. Where people are forgotten, we bring hope. And above all, we bring the love of Jesus Christ to those who need Him most.

Mathiew Saba

Saba Mathiew:  I was born and raised in Uganda, where my journey of learning and service began. I attended Galikwoleka Nursery School, where a strong foundation for my academic life was laid. I later participated in New Eden Christian Primary School for my primary education, a place that nurtured both my character and my love of learning.

For my secondary education, I joined Agape High School, where I completed my Ordinary Level studies. I later advanced to C.T.R, where I completed my Advanced Level education. These years shaped my discipline, resilience, and passion for communication and service.

I pursued higher education at Ndejje University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. My university training equipped me with strong skills in writing, communication, storytelling, and media engagement, which I continue to apply in my professional life.

Currently, I am employed at JesusFedMe.com (JFM) as a Logistics Specialist and Article Author. In this role, I support the coordination of ministry activities while also writing impactful stories that reflect the mission, compassion, and work of JFM. Additionally, I serve as a translator for JFM, proficient in Luganda, Kiswahili, and English, helping bridge language gaps and ensure clear communication with the communities we serve.

Through my work, I remain committed to service, communication, and supporting the mission of transforming lives through love, compassion, and faith.
