Today, we found our dear single mother and her children seated on the ground, carefully selecting good beans from the bad ones. With so much patience, they picked one seed at a time, hoping to make a meal out of what little they had. Their faces told a story of endurance, a story of waiting on God even amid lack. They did not complain, nor did they despair, but instead quietly worked together, trusting that the Lord would provide a miracle.
This family has walked through very tough times, yet their patience continues to shine brighter than their struggles. As we watched them, it was clear that they were not only waiting for food, but for a complete transformation that only God can bring. Their gentle spirit and steadfastness reminded us that sometimes hope is tested not in abundance but in scarcity. Their faith teaches us that God’s timing is always perfect, even when the answer is delayed.
By God’s grace, their temporary house is now complete and ready for iron sheets to be placed on top. What a blessing to see that step of progress! Just as they patiently sort beans today, they are also patiently waiting for their home to be fully covered, a sign of the miracle they have been praying for. Their patience is not in vain, for the Lord surely sees their endurance, and He will reward them with shelter, food, and peace. Truly, this is a testimony in the making.
