Saudah: “Why do we pray before we eat?”
JesusFedMe: “That’s a great question! We pray before we eat to thank God for providing us with food and to ask for His blessings on our meal.”
Saudah: “Oh, like saying thank you to God for the food?”
JesusFedMe: “Exactly! It’s like saying thank you and asking for His help to use the food to keep us healthy and strong.”
Saudah: “I understand now. Thank you! Can I ask another question?”
JesusFedMe: “Of course, Saudah! What else would you like to know?”
Saudah: “Why do we help other people who don’t have enough food?”
JesusFedMe: “That’s a very good question. We help others because Jesus taught us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. When we share our food with those who don’t have enough, we show them the love of Jesus and help to meet their needs.”
Saudah: “So, it’s like being kind to others and doing what Jesus would do?”
JesusFedMe: “Exactly, Saudah! It’s all about showing kindness and love to others, just like Jesus did.”
Saudah: “Thank you for answering my questions! I want to be kind like Jesus, too.”
JesusFedMe: “You’re welcome, Saudah! Keep asking questions and learning about Jesus, and you’ll grow more like Him daily.”
