In the wee hours during a rainy period last night, someone was sleeping on my gate in the rain. Children at home noticed it and called me, I welcomed him in my house and asked him what the problem was, he said he wanted life. I asked him what he meant, he said he’s tired of the earthly life, his children are at home they are not going to do final exams, his pregnant wife is sick, they are sleeping on empty bellies. I asked him if he was doing any work for a living. His reply was. I work at a farm, but after harvesting, my boss sold everything and did not pay me, yet I worked for an entire season.
My reply to him was, I’m not the source of life; however, Jesus is. We prayed together and gave him some supper food, which we prepared yesterday. I shared the story with the jfm director, and he was able to send him some food and treatment aid for his pregnant wife. Many people are struggling but JesusFedMe is doing all it can, not the whole world can’t be saved but we are the whole world to those we meet in need. His life did not remain the same!
