Paul was relieved from an intestinal obstruction (I.O), a blockage in the intestines that can occur due to various factors like impacted feces, foreign objects, gallstones, tumors, hernias, adhesions, volvulus, and intussusception. I.O. is a common cause of acute abdominal issues and can lead to serious health problems if not treated promptly.
When the intestines are blocked, they start producing more fluids at the site of the obstruction, leading to abdominal swelling and gas buildup due to bacterial fermentation. This increased pressure can result in excessive vomiting and dehydration. To alleviate the obstruction, the smooth muscles in the intestines contract involuntarily, causing severe and cramp-like abdominal pain.
Gallstones caused Paul’s obstruction, and he required surgery to remove them. Unfortunately, his condition had deteriorated to a critical point, and he was on the brink of life and death, desperately seeking help. Fortunately, a charitable organization named JesusFedMe offered assistance, restoring hope in Paul’s life. His operation was a success, and he can now speak comfortably.
In Paul’s own words, he expressed profound gratitude, saying, “I don’t know how to thank Jesus for giving me another chance to live. I had given up and was only waiting for my last breath.” He also extended his gratitude to JesusFedMe for their unwavering support to millions of Ugandans daily. Most importantly, he acknowledged the role of God in guiding them to identify and help the most vulnerable individuals in need.
