It was indeed a wonderful week filled with the presence of God and His power at work. We arrived at Zombo village around 10 p.m., and the place was calm and quiet. The stars shone brightly over the hills, and you could still see a few lamps flickering from homes where families were resting after a long day. Some people were still in their gardens, finishing the last part of their digging, while others had already gone home. What caught our attention most was a poor mother carrying one child on her back while the others sat near her, waiting for what she called “a miracle.” She looked tired, yet hopeful, and her eyes spoke of deep faith even in hardship.
As we began talking with her, word spread quickly throughout the village. People started gathering one by one until we had a large crowd before us. We shared the love of Jesus with them, telling them that the miracle they were waiting for is found in Him. Many hearts were touched that night, and we prayed together under the open sky. It was such a precious moment of divine encounter, one that reminded us why we do what we do — to reach those forgotten by the world but never forgotten by God.
From Zombo, our journey continued to Arua District, where we met families who were struggling but eager to hear the Word. Then we reached Nebbi, where the response was overwhelming; people opened their hearts, and many gave their lives to Christ. We also visited Madi-Okollo, where the joy of the Lord filled the place as we shared food and the gospel hand in hand. Everywhere we went, people received not only food for the body but also the Bread of Life — Jesus Christ Himself.
Truly, it was a week of wonders. The tired found rest, the hopeless received hope, and the hungry were fed both physically and spiritually. We thank God for every village, every soul, and every moment. The gospel continues to move powerfully, and through JesusFedMe, many are discovering that God’s love reaches even the most distant corners.
