JFM conversation with Granny Cate Nanfuka
JFM“Hello, Granny Cate! It’s so good to see you today. How are you feeling?”
Granny Cate:
“I’m okay, my dear. Just these old bones reminding me of my age.”
JFM
“Oh, I understand. But you are so strong and full of wisdom. In the Bible, Psalm 71 talks about how God is with us from our youth until our old age. He promises never to leave us, no matter how old we get. Isn’t that comforting?”
Granny Cate:
“Yes, it is. I’ve known the Lord for many years, but sometimes I still feel alone in these days of weakness.”
JFM
“Granny Cate, you are never alone. God hears you, and we are here for you too. Let us remind you of His love by bringing you some food today. But more than that, we want to remind you that Jesus loves you so much, and His promises are true even now.”
Granny Cate:
“Thank you, my child. It means a lot to me. What can we do except trust Him?”
JFM
“That’s right, Granny Cate. Let’s pray together and thank God for His goodness, shall we?”
Granny Cate:
“Yes, please. I’d love that.”
Father God, we give you glory and honor for providing her life and asking for His strength and comfort to fill her heart.
JFM
“Amen. And remember, Granny Cate, God is with you no matter what. If you ever need anything or feel lonely, call on Jesus, and He will always be here for you.”
Granny Cate:
“You’ve made my day, child. God bless you for remembering us old ones.”
JFM
“It’s a blessing to know you, Granny Cate. You are valuable to us and God. We’ll see you again soon!”
Granny Cate laughed as she wondered how we spotted her, who told us where she lived. Thanks to donors who give generously to see such miracles happening.
