Yesterday 12th December 2022, we had a busy day after visiting Bakatadde village with food relief. We adopted the door-to-door food delivery method since we don’t want to cause chaos and create a safe place for our delivery guy. This method is friendly and effective in giving room for our delivery guy to talk deeply with people who go through challenging times.
Bakatadde is a village with people advanced in years, out of the ten homes present, seven of them have elderly people. Despite this, there are also youths and young children. It was a mixture of love when we gave the elderly people food, female youths sanitary pads, and young kids enjoying candy and kick snacks.
It has come to our desk that elders in the villages are not given the best care they deserve JFM is loving elders, youths, and children, respectively, on behalf of their relatives. The sad story of elderly people is that they have nowhere to get food and peace. As the festive season ushers in excitement with most people planning how to spend their holidays, the hundreds of people in one corner of Uganda are likely to spend their Christmas without food.
We thank our donors for their love and support; this would have been impossible without you. THANK YOU!
Waiting to receive gifts.
