Pigweed Was Their Only Food

If you have ever been hungry, certainly you know what it means to have nothing; this family survives only on pigweed and only for supper, kids who were found hungry and confused; JFM came with fresh watermelon. So in a few minutes, they consumed it as they waited for the "real" meal.

On this matter, we have learned that many families can only afford one meal per day, and it's not complete, too often they have food but no sauce, little flavor, no meat, and very little actual nutrition.

JFM arrived at the right time and place as the HolySpirit led with food, including matooke, sacks of posho, cowpeas, rice, macrons, etc. As we have been saying, the most likely reason JFM exists is to make sure such families have meals and give hope to these desperate people.

" I was forced to turn into a foster mother. My daughter dumped me two grandchildren ", Said Mrs. Barbra.

The situation has caused already struggling families to be further pressed. As the only breadwinner, Mrs. Barbra cannot do anything more as she has done as she has devoted her time to the grandchildren.

"Fending for the family is now a huge challenge; the children need food and clothing. So I now depend on well-wishers like you (JFM) for food and other basic needs", she says. "We tried to raise our issue to the authorities, but the matter was swept under the rug," says Barbra.

Many women are nursing kids of their daughters whose fathers denied responsibility living in rented houses and depending on menial jobs.
