Good evening everyone, today I encountered a granny who was hungry and very rude. When I arrived at her home, she quickly said, ” Unless you have brought me food; otherwise I have no time” I was out of words, but the Holy Spirit told me to tell her that “I have brought you both food and the word of God.” Only then did she calm down. I spoke to her in a very calm tone, so she politely explained, “I and my grandkids are not fine. We are dying of hunger even this black tea contains no sugar.” She told me how she survives while sobbing, so I responded with, “Jesus is in your house today, and when Jesus visits, he leaves you fine.”
After preaching to her the good news of Christ, neighbors suddenly started flooding her house, allowing me to preach to many people. By that time I was preaching, I had left my food behind, and I told them that let me come back. So they patiently waited for me until I came back in just a few minutes. ” Is this what Jesus can do, said granny? After seeing two sacks of rice coming to her. I said YES. When Jesus arrives, hunger disappears, thirsty goes, everything turns to normal, and much handclaps and laughter.
We can always prove to such people that Jesus is alive and he cares for his beloved people. Thus, giving hope to the hopeless, feeding the hungry, and loving the unloved ones. With the initial of $59, you can feed over five families with rice. When they thank me I tell them “look at me, I cannot afford to buy anything for anyone. Thank Jesus who loves you and cares about you for I am just a messenger”.
This was a beautiful, wonderful day. I am so happy for them and for JFM.
Thank you for sharing. When we are in fear and consumed with anger and burden it can be difficult to release that. Jesus’s presence in us allow HIM to be present to those that are consumed by their suffering. Being present is the first step, allowing Jesus to work through us the next,. Praise God for you and Jesus’s mission for you
Thankyou for that good word John.
