Today, our single mother of nine children is filled with joy as she watches her house steadily taking shape. The construction has reached a hopeful stage, and tomorrow, mud will be laid on the sides, bringing the structure even closer to completion. With every step, her dream of owning a home is becoming a reality, and this very week she will have a place to call her own. A house that will shelter her children, protect them from the harsh weather, and restore the dignity she had longed for.
As I visited the site today, she shared her heart with deep excitement. She said, “Every day, I come here and practice domestic activities to see how I will be doing my own things, without fear.” These words carried both relief and anticipation—a testimony that she no longer has to live under the anxiety of eviction or the shame of depending on others for space. Instead, she now looks forward to a life where she and her children can live freely, in peace and safety, in their own home.
With eyes of faith, she is already believing God for the next step—a small business to support her family. Her desire is to sell basic items like soap and salt, so that she can sustain her children and give them a better future. In her words, “God makes a way.” Truly, this house is not just a building but the beginning of a new chapter where God’s provision and love shine brightly. It is a miracle in motion, and her testimony echoes the truth that the Lord is the defender of widows, the Father to the fatherless, and the One who makes a way where there seems to be no way.
