Greetings Beloved,
In the days of yore, around 2005, I received a gift copy of a huge set of gospel tracts themed (MANGA MESSIAH) during a gospel crusade in the village where I was raised. This kind of tract contained the entire New Testament but in a pictorial form (a comical book). By reading this book at my grandma’s place little by little daily without being forced, I was able to go through all 27 books of the new testament, nine(9) authors, over fifty(50) parables of Jesus Christ, reading each story repetitively for so many times that, a church at Galatia, Ephesus, and Corinth sound like my former addresses yet not true, by so doing, I want to guarantee you that, there’s not any other time I have ever read the same stories many times like this period, these stories hit hard in me like those of Herod Ceasar, the Roman emperor, and the Pharisees, that I have in my mind certain comical images clad in specific lurid gussy robes with some wrinkled faces.
However, since our gospel tracts are paper and ink in nature, we all know that the word of God isn’t merely paper and ink but power, joy, and medicine to our bones. “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them and health to all their flesh”. Proverbs 4:20-22 KJV
Similarly, I believe someone could get to know Jesus at their own pace just as I did by the instruction of the Spirit of God that softens hardened hearts. “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:26 KJV
For the Spirit of counsel and the fear of the Lord engulfs them. “And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;“ Isaiah:11:2 KJV.
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13 KJV
