“WHY WE ARE BUILDING CORINTH VOCATIONAL TRAINING INSTITUTE”
Greetings beloved,
In this article, I’d like to explore the heart behind our construction project at the CVTI premises.
As we work through the challenges of building, I felt it was vital for you to understand the core purpose of this program. In a recent post, I mentioned how the lack of practical training centers for children in our community has contributed to unemployment and poverty. That’s why JesusFedMe saw the need to establish a modern resource and vocational training center.
As a faith-based initiative, this center will be a place where faith and skills come together. It will equip young people with professional skills and spiritual guidance to help them live purposefully. We hope to shape well-rounded individuals capable of both work and walking with God.
One thing remains clear in today’s fast-changing world: “Skilling is one of the most effective ways to fight unemployment and extreme poverty.”
JesusFedMe has been sponsoring children from Mashariki Children’s Home and our church for the past three years, but as you might imagine, it’s costly. That’s why we boldly decided to build our skilling center.
Because it’s vocational, students won’t need high academic credentials to enroll. Instead, they’ll take an aptitude test and begin learning based on their ability. This opens doors for many who might otherwise be left behind.
Once the center runs, students will pay a small, affordable tuition and facilitation fee, making the program sustainable through its operations and not dependent on constant external funding.
In conclusion, we believe this institute will have a lasting impact in Uganda and across Africa and the world. We are seeking a way to complete construction and are deeply grateful to our generous donors. You are making this vision a reality. May the LORD bless you richly. Thank You, Jesus. Shalom!
