Greetings beloved,
CVTI stands for Corinth Vocational Training Institute, a hands-on vocational school we are building in Kasana, Luweero District, UGANDA. Our simple slogan is “Skills That Stick.” This school is designed to train young men and women in practical trades like carpentry and joinery, bricklaying and concrete work, tailoring, and other life-changing skills. The goal is simple. Give people the fundamental skills they need to provide for themselves, their families, and their communities. As Proverbs 22:29 says in the KJV, “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings.” We believe diligence and skill can lift an entire generation.
For the past three years, this dream has been growing step by step, and we genuinely believe GOD is at work in it. Just last week, we made significant progress by filling the foundations with murrum and aggregates. Each room is about 25 square feet and requires seven to eight Toyota Elf truckloads to complete. We then poured strong concrete on top to prevent cracking and strengthen the structure. Seeing this progress brings great joy and renewed faith. It is a clear sign that the vision is moving forward.
There is still much work ahead, including concrete application on the opposite block, but we thank GOD for bringing us this far and trust Him for what is still to come. None of this would be possible without faithful donors who believe in changing lives through action and the Gospel. We are deeply grateful to JesusFedMe for supporting this project, and to our beloved JFM Director for his guidance, supervision, and wise counsel. “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” Philippians 1:6 KJV. May GOD bless you richly. Amen.
