JFM helped seven families today, all affected by lack of food, JFM is currently dealing with those families who cannot afford a meal day, and we count that as an emergency.
Food is becoming scarce in many parts of Uganda. Many families are now counting on the government and its partners to provide their next meal. Unfortunately, those “handouts” are few and far between. It is not unusual for families to go hungry for 2-3 days at a time. Severe weight loss is a big problem. This is precisely why it is so important for JesusFedMe to step in and try to fill the gap, at least make a dent in the problem. Our hearts are impacted, which is why we appreciate our dear sponsors so much. JFM can’t afford to do it all alone.
