5 Souls Got Saved, 170 Received New Clothes

Yesterday was a day of transformation, hope, and God’s grace. Through the ministry of JesusFedMe (JFM), five precious souls surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ after years of living in deception and spiritual darkness. Their hearts were convicted, and they chose to embrace the light of God’s truth.

Among those who gave their lives to Christ were two elderly men, Gilbert and Innocent, both in their sixties. After reflecting on their lives, they openly admitted that they had lived for many years without fully knowing God. With humility and tears, they accepted salvation and began a new journey of faith.

Three ladies, Esiteri and Achai among them, also made the life-changing decision to follow Christ. They testified that they had been living in deception for a long time but had finally encountered the truth that sets people free. Their joy was evident as they embraced their new life in Jesus.

The day was equally unforgettable for 170 children who were smartly dressed in brand-new clothes by JFM. Many of these children genuinely lack proper clothing and often move around half-naked due to poverty. Receiving new clothes was not just a gift to them—it was a miracle that restored their dignity and brought smiles to their faces.

As we dressed each child, their confidence grew. We did not simply give them clothes; we reminded them that they are valuable, loved, and worthy of care. We left them looking smarter, brighter, and more hopeful than we found them.

Beyond the physical gifts, we shared God’s love, prayed with families, and planted seeds of hope in their hearts. We left the community happier than we found it. We left them stronger than we found them. We left them with a renewed sense of purpose and belonging.

Yesterday was a reminder that a simple act of kindness can change lives forever. Five souls found eternal hope, and 170 children experienced a miracle they will never forget. This is the heart of JFM—to feed the hungry, clothe the needy, share the Gospel, and leave people better, happier, and more loved than we found them.

Saba Mathiew:  I was born and raised in Uganda, where my journey of learning and service began. I attended Galikwoleka Nursery School, where a strong foundation for my academic life was laid. I later participated in New Eden Christian Primary School for my primary education, a place that nurtured both my character and my love of learning.

For my secondary education, I joined Agape High School, where I completed my Ordinary Level studies. I later advanced to C.T.R, where I completed my Advanced Level education. These years shaped my discipline, resilience, and passion for communication and service.

I pursued higher education at Ndejje University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. My university training equipped me with strong skills in writing, communication, storytelling, and media engagement, which I continue to apply in my professional life.

Currently, I am employed at JesusFedMe.com (JFM) as a Logistics Specialist and Article Author. In this role, I support the coordination of ministry activities while also writing impactful stories that reflect the mission, compassion, and work of JFM. Additionally, I serve as a translator for JFM, proficient in Luganda, Kiswahili, and English, helping bridge language gaps and ensure clear communication with the communities we serve.

Through my work, I remain committed to service, communication, and supporting the mission of transforming lives through love, compassion, and faith.
