This Christmas, JFM shared hope with destitute families through carefully prepared packages meant to meet real and urgent needs. Each family received a bar of soap, sugar, salt, bread, spaghetti, enough rice to sustain them, and 20,000 Ugandan shillings. These items brought relief to households that often struggle daily, turning Christmas from an ordinary day into a moment of joy and gratitude.
One of the beneficiaries was Granny Angella, a woman whose story is deeply woven into the journey of JFM. Three years ago, she became the very first granny JFM built a house for, rescuing her from unsafe and difficult living conditions. Her life has since stood as a living testimony of God’s faithfulness expressed through loving hands.
As Granny Angella received her Christmas package, her humble smile reflected a heart full of thankfulness. The rice and food items assured her of meals, the soap restored dignity, and the 20,000 UGX gave her freedom to attend to personal needs. Along with the package, she received prayer and encouragement, reminding her that she is deeply loved and never forgotten.
In many homes across the community, similar scenes were witnessed. Families opened their packages with joy, children gathered close, and parents felt relief knowing they could provide something for their loved ones during the festive season. For many, this support meant celebrating Christmas with peace instead of worry.
This is the heart of JFM—serving the needy with compassion while sharing the love of Christ in action. Granny Angella’s story reminds us that true ministry is not a one-time act, but a continued walk of care and faithfulness. This Christmas, many lives were touched, stomachs were filled, and hearts were drawn closer to God through simple acts of love.
