Two days ago, JesusFedMe (JFM) took a mission of compassion to Northern Uganda — a region that often feels forgotten. Unlike many other areas, the North suffers deeply from neglect, poverty, and spiritual dryness. It should be noted that the people in the North need our help more than any other region. While many may avoid going there, JFM finds it a joy to see the people who need our service most. We go where others don’t, and we show up with the love of Jesus — with food, the gospel, and prayer.
In these two powerful days, JFM was able to bless over 107 families — families that had no idea help was coming. Some had gone days without a decent meal. Others had given up hope of ever being noticed. But JFM showed up with bags of food, encouragement, and the Word of God. It was a scene of both tears and joy as children smiled for the first time in weeks, and mothers held food bags as if holding treasure. It reminded us that God sees and sends His people in His perfect time.
What stood out the most in the North was the poverty and the hunger for Jesus. People were willing to listen. They gathered to hear the gospel; many received Christ with open hearts. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do — not just to feed the stomach but the soul. In a land where churches are few and discouragement is many, we brought the message of salvation and hope and saw God move.
JFM remains committed to Northern Uganda. These are our people, and we are their family in Christ. We will return repeatedly because we know that Jesus goes with us every time we go. We thank our partners and donors for making this possible. You have not just sent food — you have sent healing, revival, and love to a region that the world ignores but God deeply remembers.
