A life that God can use is always built on the pillars of honesty and faithfulness. Whenever God chooses a person for His work, He first examines the heart. A dishonest spirit cannot carry the weight of His assignments, because His work is holy, precious, and meant to bless others. Scripture shows again and again that the Lord looks beyond talent and appearance—He searches for integrity. When a man or woman walks in truth, they become a vessel God can trust.
Honesty and faithfulness walk together like twins. You cannot claim to be faithful while hiding dishonesty in the shadows of your life. In Luke 16:10, the Lord says, “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.” God tests His servants in small responsibilities before giving them greater ones. If someone misuses the little they’re given, how will they handle bigger assignments? In God’s kingdom, reliability is more valuable than ability. A faithful heart becomes a safe place where God can pour His resources without fear of misuse.
God’s work often involves resources, blessings, and people who need care. When the Lord sends food, money, or encouragement through you, it is not for personal gain—it is for those He intends to bless. In 1 Corinthians 4:2, the Bible says, “Moreover, it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” A steward never owns what he carries; he only delivers it. When a servant of God becomes selfish or dishonest, he blocks the very blessings meant for others. But when he walks faithfully, heaven trusts him with more.
True joy in the kingdom does not come from receiving; it comes from serving. Jesus Himself said in Acts 20:35, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” When you serve others with a clean heart, you feel a deep satisfaction that money cannot buy. The joy of seeing someone fed, someone comforted, someone turning to Jesus because of your faithfulness—this is the joy that fills the soul. Dishonesty steals joy, but faithfulness multiplies it.
Therefore, God requires His servants to live honestly and walk faithfully at all times. When He finds a man or woman who can be trusted, He pours grace, resources, and responsibility into their hands. Proverbs 28:20 declares, “A faithful man shall abound with blessings.” God is still searching for such people today—people whose hearts are clean, whose hands are true, and whose lives reflect Christ. When you choose honesty and faithfulness, you open the door for God to use you in mighty ways and to bring joy to many lives.
