Lillian, Bruno, and Tomas are three siblings whose lives were forever changed when their parents separated. Their father stayed with them but was rarely home, leaving the children to fend for themselves. Without his presence and guidance, the siblings had to take on responsibilities far beyond their years. The eldest Lillian became the cook, preparing whatever food they could find. Bruno took on the daily task of fetching water to ensure they had enough for their basic needs. The youngest Tomas was responsible for washing utensils and tidying their small home.
Despite their resilience, life has been incredibly challenging. There are nights when their father doesn’t return, leaving the three siblings to sleep alone in their humble home, unsure of what the next day will bring. The story of these brave children, forced to grow up too fast, deeply touched our hearts. Our ministry stepped in to provide them with much-needed food and emotional support.
Your generous donations made this compassionate response possible. Without your support, Lillian, Bruno, and Tomas might still face daily hunger and loneliness. Your contributions have brought real change to their lives, filling them with hope and a sense of belonging. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus to these children; your kindness has brought light into their world in a way that words alone cannot express. Sadly, like many in Uganda, their struggles are far from over, and our efforts can only provide temporary relief. But for now, they have food and the comfort of knowing someone cares.
