JFM ministry exists because God, in His perfect wisdom, knew there would be people who would be hungry, forgotten, and in need of both bread and hope. Long before JFM was formed, the Lord already saw the tears of the poor and prepared a vessel to reach them. Scripture reminds us, “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee” (Jeremiah 1:5). In the same way, God knew this ministry before it began, because He knew the people it would serve. JFM was never meant for itself; it was born to answer the cries of others.
JFM stands on the truth that the gospel must be lived, not only spoken. Jesus said, “For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink” (Matthew 25:35). This is the heart of JFM—feeding the hungry while pointing them to Christ, the Bread of Life. Every meal shared is an act of obedience, and every prayer offered is a reflection of God’s love in action. The ministry exists to reveal Jesus through compassion, humility, and service.
God calls His people to care for those who cannot help themselves. The Bible says, “Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy” (Psalm 82:3). JFM walks in this calling by standing with widows, orphans, the elderly, and struggling families who fight silent battles every day. This ministry exists because ignoring the poor is not an option for those who follow Christ. JFM is God’s hands reaching into places where help rarely comes.
JFM is also meant to restore dignity and hope. Scripture declares, “The poor shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek Him” (Psalm 22:26). When families receive food, they also receive encouragement, prayer, and the message that God has not forgotten them. JFM does not only meet physical needs; it lifts hearts toward salvation, leading many to know Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Above all, JFM exists for God’s glory and for the fulfillment of His command to love others. “Let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth” (1 John 3:18). This ministry is proof that God still moves through willing servants to reach the lost and the needy. JFM was meant for others—because God’s love was never meant to be kept, but shared.
