In today’s modern world, genuine care for one another is becoming rare. Many people are caught up in the fast pace of life, focused only on their own survival, ambitions, and personal gain. The spirit of compassion and brotherhood that once held communities together is fading. Even in times of need, it is not unusual for people to walk past others who are struggling, with little thought or concern. The love of many has grown cold, just as the Bible warned would happen in the last days (Matthew 24:12).
Because of this, when you find someone who truly loves and cares for others, that is a treasure from God. True love is shown not just in words but in action. That’s why the work of JesusFedMe (JFM) is so precious—because it is rare. JFM doesn’t just hand out food; we go into broken places, listen to people’s pain, preach the Good News of Jesus, pray with the suffering, and remind them that God has not forgotten them. This kind of love is not common—it is holy.
If someone loves you the way JFM loves the poor, don’t take it lightly. That kind of love is from God, and it is worth protecting. Pray for such people. Pray that God strengthens them, provides for them, and keeps their hearts full of compassion. People who give their time, their resources, and their hearts to others are often under attack from the enemy. Satan hates love, because love reveals Jesus to the world.
So, if you’ve ever been touched by someone who truly loves you without condition, take time to thank God for them. And just like JFM needs prayer, every loving soul needs covering in prayer too. Ask God to preserve their hearts, bless their work, and increase their impact. Because in a cold and selfish world, even one person who loves with the heart of Jesus is a miracle. Let’s not just admire them—let’s lift them up to God.
