JFM is a ministry dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ by meeting both the spiritual and physical needs of people in need. While our primary mission is to preach the good news of salvation, we recognize that many of the people we encounter are struggling with basic necessities—chief among them, hunger. To reflect the love of Christ in a tangible way, we go into communities carrying not just the Word of God but also food, often simple bags of rice, to share with those who are hungry.
This strategy of coupling the gospel with practical help has opened many hearts to receive the message of Jesus. After preaching and praying with individuals and families, we hand them a gift of food and say, “Jesus loves you.” This simple act, backed by genuine compassion, often breaks barriers and softens hearts. People who might have turned away from a message alone are instead deeply touched by the demonstration of God’s love through action. As a result, hundreds have given their lives to Christ through this ministry.
But the impact doesn’t stop with salvation decisions. We’ve seen remarkable transformations in families and communities. Marriages that were falling apart have found healing and restoration through the power of God and the love shown by His people. Husbands and wives, once at the brink of separation, have renewed their commitment to one another and to God. The gospel becomes more than words when it is accompanied by care, support, and encouragement.
Perhaps most touching are the stories of children who had lost hope—orphans, street kids, and those from broken homes—who are now smiling again, simply because someone showed up and cared. A bag of rice may not seem like much, but in the hands of God, it becomes a seed of hope. At JFM, we believe this is what Jesus meant when He said, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” We are not just feeding bodies—we are feeding souls and watching God do the miraculous.
