I am a local man, born and raised in this village, and for many years my life was filled with quiet suffering. Poverty covered my days, and shame followed me wherever I went. There were times when my children slept hungry, and I felt like less than a man because I could not provide. I cried in my heart, but there was no one to hear me. I avoided people because I felt broken and forgotten.
Then JFM came, and everything began to change. They did not ask about my past or judge my condition. They saw my need and responded with love. When they brought food to my home, it was more than a meal—it was dignity restored. My cry, which I thought had disappeared into the air, was finally answered. Through JFM, God showed me that He had never abandoned me.
JFM covered my poverty in a way I had never experienced before. They stood with me in my lowest moment and reminded me that my life still had value. The help they gave removed the heavy shame I carried, because it came with prayer, encouragement, and respect. I learned that poverty is not a curse when God’s people choose to act in love.
Most importantly, JFM shared the gospel with me. As they prayed in my home, I felt peace enter my heart. I came to understand that Jesus sees the poor and lifts the humble. The Word of God healed me inside, even before my situation changed outside. I found hope, not in food alone, but in Christ who gives eternal life.
Today, I stand with gratitude and faith. My life is a testimony that God hears the cry of the poor and answers through His servants. JFM covered my cry, my poverty, and my shame, and replaced them with hope. I thank God for this ministry and pray that it continues to reach many others like me, who are waiting for someone to see them and respond with love.
