Greetings, beloved!
As part of our ongoing December evangelism agenda, we are excited to include movie nights at our church. These movie sessions are designed to empower evangelism and enrich Bible study by showcasing Bible-inspired films such as Jacob, Joseph, Abraham, Esther, Exodus and the Kings, Saul, and The Passion of Christ.
This initiative has been a great blessing! We’ve seen active participation from our church members, the local community, and the children from our children’s home. These movies make Bible stories come alive, helping viewers connect emotionally and intellectually. During Bible study, it’s remarkable how easily people recall events they’ve seen in the movies compared to reading them from a script.
When we watched The Passion of Christ, the Spirit of GOD moved powerfully among us. Men and women were deeply touched, weeping with emotion as their hearts were stirred by the vivid portrayal of JESUS’ sacrifice. Following the movie, we engage in discussions about the lessons we’ve learned, concluding with a brief sermon that ties everything together. This format has not only deepened understanding but has also led many to give their lives to JESUS.
Our vision is to make this program a regular feature every weekend. Currently, we rent a TV and speaker, but we are praying and believing GOD to provide us with our own equipment to ensure the program’s continuity and growth. Through these efforts, we aim to reach as many souls as possible with the gospel as we see the end times approaching.
May the peace and mercy of GOD be with you all!
