In the scorching sunshine, a dear poor woman sat outside her small grass-thatched house, trying to prepare beans for her hungry children. The heat was unbearable, and yet she kept going, stirring the pot slowly with tired hands. Her eyes told a story of deep struggle—days without enough food, nights filled with prayers for her children to sleep on full stomachs. Around her, the dry ground and faded walls of her hut spoke of poverty, but also of quiet strength and perseverance.
Her children sat nearby, watching her every move. Their little faces were thin, their clothes worn, and their eyes fixed on the FIRE, hoping for a meal. They didn’t complain, but the silence in their gaze said it all—they were hungry, waiting patiently for something to eat. Despite her hardship, the woman’s love for her children was stronger than her pain. She kept working with faith that somehow, God would make a way for them.
That day, JesusFedMe (JFM) arrived with food. When she saw the team bringing maize flour, rice, and beans, tears rolled down her face. Her prayer had been answered. For the first time in a while, she and her children would eat to their fill. The simple gift of food brought back her smile and strengthened her faith. Through this act of love, JFM reminded her that even in the hardest times, Jesus still sees, still cares, and still provides for His children.
