Feeding the Hungry
JesusFedMe is committed to improving the lives of the poor in Uganda by living out the biblical mandate to care for those in need. Jesus said in Matthew 25:35, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger, and you invited me in.” Inspired by this call, we deliver food daily to those hungry, ensuring as many as we can in our community not go without a meal. Our mission is about providing physical nourishment and demonstrating Christ’s love through practical acts of kindness, fulfilling His command to care for the least of these.
Sharing the Gospel
At JesusFedMe, we believe that true transformation comes through the power of the Gospel. In Mark 16:15, Jesus commands, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” As we deliver food, we also share the message of Jesus Christ, offering hope and salvation to those we meet. We pray with individuals and families, sharing the good news that Jesus loves them and has a purpose for their lives. Our goal is to see everyone come to a saving knowledge of Jesus, finding not only physical sustenance but also spiritual renewal and eternal hope.
Praying with the Needy
Prayer is a vital part of our ministry at JesusFedMe, as we believe in the power of intercession to bring about change. James 5:16 says, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” We pray with those we serve, lifting up their needs and trusting God to intervene in their circumstances. Through prayer, we seek to provide comfort, healing, and encouragement, reminding people that they are not alone. By fostering a community of faith and support, we help to build stronger, more resilient individuals who can overcome the challenges they face with the assurance of God’s love and provision.
