JesusFedMe (JFM) continues to reach out to the poorest families with a genuine heart of love and compassion. We do not just bring food, but we come with the love of Christ — a love that listens, prays, and cares deeply for the souls of those who have been forgotten by society. Every time JFM shares food, it is more than just feeding the hungry; it is an act of showing the heart of Jesus in action. The smiles, the tears, and the prayers that follow remind everyone that God’s love is still alive and reaching out through His people.
Yet, there are moments when some of the people JFM helps do not smile or express joy immediately. It’s not because they are ungrateful, but because life has been so hard on them. Many have grown up without love, care, or kindness — their hearts have been wounded for years. When love finally comes their way, it feels strange, almost unfamiliar. They don’t know how to respond to something so genuine, because for most of their lives, no one cared enough to stay, to feed, or to listen.
But the beauty of God’s love is that it heals over time. JFM doesn’t stop showing kindness just because someone doesn’t smile back. We continue to love, to visit, and to share food with the same warmth and faithfulness, trusting that one day those hearts will open. The same Jesus who healed broken hearts in the Bible is still healing today through every meal shared, every prayer spoken, and every word of encouragement given.
Jesus genuinely loves these people, even more than JFM ever could. His love reaches into their deepest pain and restores what the world has taken away. Through every act of compassion, JFM becomes a vessel of that divine love — reminding the destitute that they are seen, known, and cherished by God. And even if they cannot smile today, JFM knows that with time and the touch of Jesus, joy will return to their hearts once more.
