In Uganda, the plight of elderly individuals aged 65 and above is often overlooked, yet they endure significant challenges in making a living. Tragically, some succumb to these hardships while awaiting financial assistance from the government. It’s a heart-wrenching reality that many elderly citizens pass away while in line, hoping for aid. This is not just food aid but spiritual aid as well. We tell them about God’s love and give them the salvation message about the good news of Jesus Christ. As our motto says, “The food is the hook, the gospel is the food.”

For many, the journey to collect financial assistance becomes an ordeal, one that proves fatal for some. The harsh conditions they endure on this quest often take a toll, leading to tragic outcomes.
