Humility,Character, Honesty Brought Us Here

Honesty has been one of the strongest pillars in this journey, allowing every step to be taken with a clean heart and a clear conscience. When the work is done with truth, people sense it. They know they can trust the hands that bring food, speak hope, and pray with them. That trust opens the door for deeper conversations, and many find themselves willing to listen because they see genuine integrity in all that is done. Honesty has protected the work, kept motives pure, and helped the ministry remain a light even in places where people have grown used to disappointment.

Humility has also carried the mission forward. It keeps the focus on serving rather than being seen. When the work is approached with a humble heart, even the smallest act becomes powerful. It allows workers to sit on the ground with the elderly, listen to the cries of the hungry, and pray with those society has forgotten. Humility makes room for God’s grace to flow freely, because there is no pride blocking what He wants to do. It reminds everyone involved that the ministry is not built by human strength but by God’s hand.

Character has shaped the reputation that precedes every visit. Good character speaks louder than words. It shows in how the food is distributed, how promises are kept, and how people are treated with dignity regardless of their condition. When character is strong, people begin to believe that love can still be trusted. They see consistency, compassion, and patience, and these qualities preach louder than any sermon. Character turns simple actions into testimonies that point hearts toward Jesus.

Faithfulness has been the thread that holds everything together. Day after day, through sunshine and rain, through challenges and victories, the work continues. Faithfulness keeps the mission moving when resources are tight, when distances are long, and when some people do not respond immediately. It is the steady obedience that God honors. And because of honesty, humility, character, and faithfulness, the ministry has grown, lives have been touched, and many have turned to the Lord. These virtues have brought us this far, and they will continue guiding the path ahead.

Mathiew Saba

Saba Mathiew:  I was born and raised in Uganda, where my journey of learning and service began. I attended Galikwoleka Nursery School, where a strong foundation for my academic life was laid. I later participated in New Eden Christian Primary School for my primary education, a place that nurtured both my character and my love of learning.

For my secondary education, I joined Agape High School, where I completed my Ordinary Level studies. I later advanced to C.T.R, where I completed my Advanced Level education. These years shaped my discipline, resilience, and passion for communication and service.

I pursued higher education at Ndejje University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. My university training equipped me with strong skills in writing, communication, storytelling, and media engagement, which I continue to apply in my professional life.

Currently, I am employed at JesusFedMe.com (JFM) as a Logistics Specialist and Article Author. In this role, I support the coordination of ministry activities while also writing impactful stories that reflect the mission, compassion, and work of JFM. Additionally, I serve as a translator for JFM, proficient in Luganda, Kiswahili, and English, helping bridge language gaps and ensure clear communication with the communities we serve.

Through my work, I remain committed to service, communication, and supporting the mission of transforming lives through love, compassion, and faith.
