Call it love and devotion; call it God’s adoration. Today I was not feeling myself doing food delivery until 3 pm when the holy spirit told me to go to the quarrying site. There I found many people crushing stones in the sun, sweating and hammering rocks. Among them, I noticed a single mum who came with her three small children. Single mothers go through severe frustration. They work so hard for little money, day and night, wishing to have a better life for their children, all on their own, trying to save them from hunger, daily struggle, and facing hard life with all fears.
When I came nearer to her, I was not quick to speak; I watched how she crushes stones. Finally, after like 7 minutes, I broke the silence, and I told her, “Jesus loves you so much, he cares about you. He wants you to accept Him”. He died for you, and He wishes to give you whatever you would want to have.
Biblically when you love, you give. “So God loved the world, and He gave,” so I had to prove my words with an act of giving. This week has been excellent each day, and we could feed about eight to ten people and sometimes more than that. Our rice program is doing so well, and with much love and honor, we would love to extend our sincere appreciation to donors who respond to God’s voice to make this happen. Feeding the hungry and giving them the word of hope is what exactly Jesus did, so follow Jesus as our perfect role model.
