Loving to help
JesusFedMe (JFM) conducted outreach in Kabayongo village, a remote community where the gospel was largely unfamiliar. Upon arrival, we toured the area to observe the living conditions and understand the people’s perspective. The village was in a dry region, with no farming activities, and many residents faced extreme hardship. Before beginning the outreach, JFM sought permission from the local authority, the village chairman. He welcomed us and provided an official letter permitting us to preach the gospel to the villagers.
One of the first challenges JFM encountered was the language barrier, as most residents did not understand English. To effectively communicate, we arranged for a translator who could bridge the gap and help share the message of Christ. As we engaged with the villagers, they noticed that some men and women were already drunk, even in the early morning. This highlighted the deep struggles many in the community faced, likely using alcohol as an escape from their brutal realities.
Despite these challenges, I remained focused on sharing the gospel with love and compassion. We spoke about the hope found in Jesus Christ, emphasizing that He is the answer to all of life’s troubles. The villagers listened attentively as I shared the message of salvation, explaining that through faith in Jesus, they could receive eternal life and a transformed heart. The presence of the Holy Spirit was evident as some individuals felt conviction and desired to turn away from their old ways.
Four people—Onyango, Kabong, John, and Adidas—accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior by God’s grace. It was a moment of great joy and celebration as these individuals took their first steps in faith. We prayed with them, encouraging them to stand firm in their new walk with Christ. JFM also connected them with local believers who could provide continued support and discipleship.
The outreach in Kabayongo village was both a challenge and a blessing. While we encountered difficult living conditions and spiritual darkness, they also witnessed the power of the gospel to bring transformation. JFM remains committed to reaching the lost, feeding the hungry, and leading people to Christ. The salvation of Onyango, Kabong, John, and Adidas is a testament to God’s faithfulness, and the team continues to pray that more people in Kabayongo will come to know the love of Jesus.

Onyango, a youth who doesn’t know what is following in his life, gave his life to Jesus.

In the morning, some were busy drinking. Jesus loves sinners, but He hates the sin.
