Hasifah Namajja, a 13-year-old girl at the Mashariki Children’s Home, was admitted to the home program last June. She comes from a humble background and has been suffering from cheilitis since she was three years old. The condition became so severe that her parents gave up on trying to treat it. Hasifah struggled through the lower grades of school with this syndrome. Her lips looked so affected that she lost her self-esteem, and she developed thick tartar on her teeth (calculus bridges) because she couldn’t brush her teeth properly.
(“CHEILITIS” means inflammation of the lips)
Whenever she tried to heal, she would experience demonic attacks in her sleep, causing her to bite her lips until they bled, staining her bed with blood.
When she came to church, I prayed for her. Now, 13 months later, her lips have healed completely, with just a small scar remaining, and the demonic attacks have stopped. Hasifah is now a happy and devoted Christian. She is preparing to sit for the national examinations in October and hopes to join high school.
I bless the Lord for Hasifah’s life. She is happily staying with us, and we thank God for the gift of healing upon her. We are also grateful to JesusFedMe (JFM) for their continued love and support for our numerous endeavors. We pray and hope that Almighty God will bless each one of you abundantly.
