In the heart of Taalari, a community known for its long seasons of hunger and harsh dry spells, joy was recently witnessed as JFM reached out with food and the gospel of Jesus Christ. For years, the people of Taalari have toiled on their land, planting and cultivating with hope, only for the scorching sun to wither their efforts and leave them with empty harvests. Poverty and hunger have been their constant companions, and yet, through this cloud of suffering, JFM came shining with the love of Christ, bringing food to 200 families who had lost hope of a decent meal.
During a special meeting with the community leader, Mr. Lewo Moses, words of gratitude poured out as he said, “We shall remember your love more than our long suffering.” His heart was overwhelmed, for in times past, his people had only known the pain of hunger, but on this day, they tasted the goodness of God through the love and care of JFM. Families who once went to bed on empty stomachs shared together, and with every shared meal came a renewed hope that God still remembers Taalari.
The chairman did not hide his pain, confessing, “People come to my house for food, but I also have no food. They come with burdens of hunger, of which my children also carry. I have no answer, but you have become our answer.” His words reflected the cries of many leaders in poor communities who are weighed down by the burdens of their people. Yet, through the ministry of JFM, his home and the entire village of Taalari felt a fresh breeze of relief, a reminder that the Lord indeed provides.
With tears of gratitude, the people of Taalari lifted their voices in praise. They may not have riches, but they carry memories of a day when God visited them through JFM, when love triumphed over suffering. As their leader declared, “We shall remember your love more than our problems,” the community embraced not just food for their bodies, but also the bread of life, Jesus Christ. Truly, JFM’s love left an unforgettable mark on the hearts of Taalari.
