Eric is a boy whose life is not that pleasant because he has had to live with a terrible skin condition all of his life. Eric’s hope is always in God because he did not even know whether he would make it this far. It has been the mercy of God to see Eric growing with such wounded skin. JFM, like always has been a key to improving such peoples’ standards of living and giving them hope, and yesterday Eric was visited. Eric was once getting medical attention every week, but the people who used to help him abandoned him; while tears cascaded all over his face, Eric narrates how things happened. “Out of the blue, we were kicked out of the house, to my disappointment, I was never told the reason.” I used to go to school delighted, but now I cannot even explain it.”
JFM knows that Eric would need to have a balanced diet. That is why a sack of rice, a bunch of matooke, and two kilograms of meat were given to him. We will keep up with this family and try to help them. Also, JFM is committed to sending Eric to school. The 15-year-old boy needs special treatment every week failure to meet that his wounds are worsening. He has been in such a situation since childhood.

Bill’s heart for the poor flows from the words of JESUS in Matthew 25:35: “For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in.” He often says that every bag of rice delivered, every child clothed, and every prayer offered is a reminder that GOD’s love is real and practical.
None of this would be possible without faithful donors who give generously. Bill sees himself not just as a director, but as a steward—ensuring that every dollar makes a difference in feeding the hungry and leading souls to CHRIST. His vision is to see communities in Uganda transformed, both physically and spiritually, through the power of the gospel and the kindness of those who support the work.
