In these difficult financial times, almost everyone is feeling the weight of economic hardship. Prices are rising, opportunities are few, and survival itself has become a daily prayer for many. Yet, in the midst of it all, JesusFedMe (JFM) continues to press on—committed to feeding the hungry and reaching the forgotten with the love of Jesus. We understand that things are hard for everyone, including us as a ministry, but we believe that as long as God provides, we must continue to give hope through food and the gospel.
Just yesterday, JFM was in Nakasongola, ministering to a group of poor single mothers. These women, many of whom have been abandoned by their husbands, struggle daily to feed their children—especially during this harsh dry season when food becomes even more scarce. We came with food packages and the gospel message, and the Lord moved powerfully. Five single mothers gave their lives to Christ and received Him as their Savior. They didn’t just walk away with food for their bodies but also with spiritual bread that brings eternal life.
While we were still on the ground serving, we received sad news. One of the dear people JFM has been supporting went to be with the Lord. It was a heavy moment for our team, but it reminded us again of the urgency of this work. We never know what tomorrow holds. Many of those we serve are on the edge of life and death, and every visit matters. Every prayer, every plate of food, and every word of the gospel may be someone’s last chance to encounter Jesus.
Even as resources stretch thin and the needs grow larger, JFM remains committed to this mission. We do not rely on our strength, but on the Lord who called us. We thank God for the partners and donors who continue to stand with us. Without them, none of this would be possible. We ask for continued prayers—that God will keep providing so we can continue showing His love to those who are hungry, desperate, and searching for hope.
