This week marked a very special turning point in the journey of our ministry, JesusFedMe (JFM). From the very beginning, our approach had always been to take food directly to the people, share the gospel, and bless them with physical nourishment alongside spiritual food. Many received the message with joy, while others did not. But this time, the Holy Spirit led us differently — to go out without food, to walk door to door, and to share the gospel purely, without any material gifts. It was a call to test our faith and the faith of those we were reaching — to see if people would still believe in the message of Christ when nothing visible was offered.
For three full days, we moved from house to house, in villages and homes where people didn’t even know who we were. They had no idea that JFM was the same ministry that usually brought food to the needy. We came this time as simple servants of the Lord, carrying nothing but the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. The results were beyond anything we could have imagined. Without giving out a single physical item, hearts were opened, tears were shed, and souls were touched. It was a reminder that God’s Word alone is powerful enough to convict and transform lives.
On our first day, we witnessed something beautiful — 17 people genuinely accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. There was no food, no gifts, no promises — just faith. These were souls drawn to God by the message of love and salvation. On the second day, 24 more people believed the gospel, surrendering their hearts to Christ. It was as though the Spirit of God had gone ahead of us, preparing the hearts of the people before we even arrived. Then on the third day, which we call our “food gift day,” 31 people gave their lives to Jesus — and this time, we brought food to bless them, not as a tool for conversion, but as a celebration of what God had already done.
This experience has changed our understanding of ministry forever. We learned that while food is important — and we will always continue to feed the hungry — the greatest hunger is spiritual. People need Jesus more than anything else. When we obeyed the Holy Spirit and put Him first, God revealed His glory in ways we had never seen before. The gospel is not about what we can give, but about what Christ has already given: His life, His grace, and His salvation.
We give all glory to the Lord for these three days of divine manifestation. It was not by our strength, wisdom, or planning, but by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Our mission as JFM remains the same — to feed the hungry and preach the gospel — but this week reminded us that the power of salvation lies in the Word of God alone. We saw firsthand that when people believe without seeing, their faith is genuine. As Jesus said in John 20:29, “Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” Truly, the glory belongs to God, for He made Himself known among His people.
