Ahmed Experiences Life in a Polygamous Marriage

Today, in the heart of Kilembezi village, Mathiew, our delivery guy from JesusFedMe, encountered a man named Ssozi Ahmed. Amidst our interactions, we were introduced to his extensive family, uncovering that the five women present were his cherished wives, a testament to the enduring traditions of African society even in the 21st century. With hearts open and spirits willing, we shared the transformative message of the Gospel with them. Remarkably, each of these ladies accepted Jesus as their savior.

This profound moment reminds us of the scripture from Acts 16:31, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Witnessing the power of faith and the embrace of salvation within this family underscores the essence of our mission. Through these encounters, we see the hand of God at work, transforming lives and nurturing hope in the most unexpected places. As we continue to reach out, our donors’ support and generosity enable these life-changing moments to unfold, bringing light and love to every corner we touch.

Saba Mathiew I was born on October 1, 1995. I grew up in Uganda where I attended NE Primary School and later CTR Secondary School. After completing my secondary education, I pursued a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication at Ndejje University. Currently, I am employed as a Logistics Specialist and Article Author at JFM.
