A Seed Planted in Kangulimira Village
Life was deeply rooted in tradition in the village of Kangulimira, nestled amidst rolling hills and lush greenery. Most families here follow the teachings of Islam; their faith is passed down through generations. The call to prayer echoed through the village five times a day, and the people moved about their daily routines with a deep sense of devotion.
JFM arrived, bringing more than just food and supplies. Came with a message—one that would speak of hope, love, and eternal life. Our mission was to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.
The village elders welcomed JFM respectfully. JFM, known for feeding the hungry and caring for those in need, had already earned the people’s trust through our acts of kindness. But on this visit, our message went beyond the physical need for food—it was a spiritual message that had never been heard in the village before.
Meeting , families in thier respective homes listened as the i spoke about a man named Jesus. Telling them of His love for all people, His sacrifice on the cross, and how He rose again to give eternal life to all who believe in Him.
“For God so loved the world,” the team leader began, quoting from the Bible, “that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
There was a quiet murmur through each man. Many had never heard this message before. The idea that a man could love them so much, even giving His life for them, was something new and unfamiliar. They had heard of Jesus in passing but never as a Savior who offered redemption and eternal hope.
Answering questions and sharing testimonies of lives transformed by the power of Jesus. Some villagers nodded quietly, intrigued by the stories, while others remained skeptical. Still, the message had been shared.
“We may not see the fruit today,” “but we trust that the Word of God will not return void. The seed has been planted, and we will continue to pray for people of Kangulimira.”
Thank you, to the donors who help us bring the good news to the corners of the world. Because of your support, the name of Jesus was spoken in Kangulimira for the first time. Though no one got saved today, the seed has been planted, and we believe in faith that a harvest is coming.”
