Empathy is the ability to understand and share another person’s feelings. It means putting yourself in someone else’s shoes—feeling what they feel, seeing things from their perspective, and responding with compassion and care.
Empathy isn’t just feeling sorry for someone (that’s sympathy); it’s connecting with their emotions on a deeper level. For example, if someone is grieving, empathy helps you not just recognize their sadness, but to feel it with them and offer comfort from the heart. The Bible encourages this kind of love in Romans 12:15, “Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.”
Empathy is powerful in ministry. It helps us love others like Jesus did—He didn’t just heal people physically; He felt their pain and moved with compassion (Matthew 9:36). When we show empathy, we reflect the heart of God.
Satan has always targeted saviors—those chosen and anointed by God to bring hope, deliverance, and salvation. From the beginning, Satan has tried to destroy God’s plan by attacking those called to carry it out. One of the clearest examples of this is in the life of Jesus Christ. When Jesus was just a child, Satan stirred up King Herod to kill all the baby boys in Bethlehem in an attempt to eliminate the promised Savior. Satan knew Jesus would bring salvation to the world, so he tried to stop Him before His mission began. But God protected Jesus, and the plan of salvation moved forward in power.
In the same way, Satan continues to attack those who are working to bring light into darkness—those who feed the hungry, share the gospel, and lead people to Jesus. Ministries like JesusFedMe are not just feeding stomachs but feeding souls with the Word of God. That threatens the kingdom of darkness, so the enemy will try to bring discouragement, confusion, lack, and even danger to those doing the work. But we are not ignorant of his devices. We recognize the spiritual warfare and fight it on our knees through prayer and faith in Jesus Christ.
This is why we pray fervently for all who are connected to JesusFedMe, especially our precious donors. They are not just supporters; they are partners in God’s mission. If Satan attacks them—financially, physically, emotionally, or spiritually—it can hinder the ministry’s work, and many lives may go without food, prayer, or the gospel. We pray because their support is vital to reaching souls and changing lives. Their faithfulness is a lifeline to many who are suffering.
So we lift every donor, every partner, and every friend of JesusFedMe.com in the name of Jesus. We pray for supernatural provision—that God would bless them more than enough. We pray for divine protection over them and their families. We pray for guidance, that they will always walk in God’s will and be led by His Spirit. We cover them in the blood of Jesus and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. May God bless all who stand with this mission, and may His glory be seen through every meal shared and every soul saved.
