Not every seed fails because the sower is wrong. Sometimes the seed is good, the heart of the giver is pure, but the soil is not ready. A generous person can sow with love, compassion, and sincerity, yet place that seed where it produces little fruit because the character of the recipient is unhealthy.
Poor soil is not always about poverty. Sometimes it is a heart filled with pride, selfishness, entitlement, or ingratitude. Instead of thanking God for His provision, some people take the credit for themselves. Rather than using the blessing to lift others, they use it to boast, oppress, or make themselves appear greater than they are.
A person may receive help today and use that very blessing to look down on someone else tomorrow. Others forget the hands that lifted them and even become disrespectful to those who sacrificed for them. When this happens, the seed has not reached its full purpose because the harvest does not bring glory to God.
This is why wisdom is just as important as generosity. A good heart should be guided by discernment. God calls us to be cheerful givers, but He also teaches us to seek His direction so that our giving produces lasting fruit and points people back to Him.
At JesusFedMe.com (JFM), we thank God for faithful partners who continue to sow into good soil. Their generosity is not simply providing meals—it is reaching the very people God desires to visit with His love, hope, and salvation. Every gift becomes an opportunity to feed the hungry, share the Gospel, and pray with those in need.
By God’s grace, the lives touched through JFM are not just receiving food for a day; they are hearing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Many find hope, experience compassion, and encounter the love of God in practical and spiritual ways. That is the kind of harvest every Christian longs to see.
To every partner who stands with this mission, thank you. Your seed is making an eternal difference. You are helping hungry families, encouraging the brokenhearted, and supporting a ministry that seeks to glorify God in every act of kindness. Your generosity is producing fruit that will last.
As Scripture reminds us, “But the one who received seed on the good ground is the one who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces” (Matthew 13:23). May God continue to bless every faithful sower with wisdom, discernment, and joyful hearts as together we invest in lives for His glory.
