Naluvule is one of the remote areas in the Luweero district with many aged people; JFM discovered Elizabeth, a frail old lady, enjoying locally roasted maize near an old-fashioned local house. Sensing her weakened state, JFM extended a helping hand, providing Elizabeth with food and sharing the uplifting message of Jesus Christ. Seated in front of the traditional dwelling, Elizabeth’s day brightened with both physical sustenance and spiritual encouragement.
In another encounter, we met Sylvia, a 76-year-old woman desperately trying to shield her charcoal from the impending rain. Demonstrating kindness, I assisted Sylvia in collecting and securing her charcoal. Touched by our compassion, Sylvia expressed her gratitude for the love she received. During our interaction, Sylvia revealed her desire to embrace salvation but had never found someone to guide her through the confession process.
Sylvia, moved by the warmth and kindness from JFM, felt a sense of connection and support. In that moment, she expressed her gratitude, thankful for the compassionate assistance that went beyond practical help. To the generous donors who make such impactful encounters possible, JFM extends heartfelt appreciation for making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals like Elizabeth and Sylvia.
